On arrival in Lagos, our local representative will meet with you at the international Airport. You will be transferred you to the hotel. With most of the flights arriving in Lagos in the evening, today is reserved for your check-in, refreshment and rejuvenating for the next day’s activities. However, in the event that flight arrives in the morning, we will commence the tour with sightseeing of the Mainland Part of Lagos, before proceeding to Victoria Island by afternoon for check-in at your hotel.
Day 2: Experience the highlights of Victoria Island & Lagos Waking up refreshed, enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at your hotel before you proceed on an exciting tour through Lekki and Lagos. Visit the Nike Art Galleria, Lekki Art and Craft Market then Lekki Conservative Centre, and Terra Kulture before driving to Hakuna-Matata. Visit Freedom Park, The Cathedral, the Central Mosque, Tafawa Balewa Square where Nigeria’s independence was first celebrated in 1960. Visit the Independence house, an edifice built in the early 1960's as a symbol of Nigeria's independence. Visit Campos district. An Afro-Brazilian district, where slaves freed by Saros in Brazil (Agudas) settled in when they returned to Lagos. Visit the National Museum and John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture. Lunch with be at Terra Kulture before your return to the hotel. Meal (s) included: Breakfast
Following a good breakfast this morning, we will travel by road for 2hr 30min to Badagry. At Badagry, we shall visit the Slave Museum, Gberefu Island (Point of No return), Velekete Slave Market, Alhaji William Abass Sariki Barracoon. – Return to Lagos for an overnight rest.  Meal (s) included: Breakfast
After a refreshing night and a sumptuous breakfast, we check-out of the hotel and kickstart the day with a 2 hours trip to Abeokuta & visits to Olumo Rock, the National Museum and Olusegun Obansanjo Presidential Library (OOPL). A place established to demonstrate and deepen democracy, an historic and academic centre established as a national archive for the preservation of National documents. Visit Itoku Market, where vendors sell the famous Adire fabric & fetish stalls where local medicines are sold. Visit Oyan Dam, a dam that crosses the Oyan river, a tributary of the Ogun River, used primarily to supply fresh water to Lagos. We travel afterwards for 1hr 30min to Ibadan and stay Overnight at Golden Tulip Hotel, Jericho, Ibadan Meal (s) included: Breakfast
Day 5: Cultural Adventure in Yorubaland Check-out after breakfast for our travel to Oshogbo. En-route, we will visit lle Ife. A town known to be the cradle of Yoruba civilization, where the founding deities Oduduwa and Obatala began the creation of the world, as directed by the paramount Deity Olodumare.. We will visit the Palace of the Ooni of Ife. Then Ife Museum, where the statue of Queen Moremi Ajasoro, a prominent female warrior that saved Ife from her enemies and the historic Oranmiyan monolith, where we will join "elders of the land" for a drink and ablution to the forefathers. Still at Oshogbo, the main city of Osun State, we will tour the dense forest of the Osun Oshogbo Sacred Grove. Regarded as the abode of the goddess of fertility Osun, one of the pantheons of Yoruba gods. The landscape of the grove and its meandering river is dotted with sanctuaries and shrines, sculptures, and art works in honor of Osun and other deities. After visiting the grove, we shall drive to Mama Susan Wenger's house, Nike art centre, Jimoh’s gallery before exploring the local market, after which we Proceed to the Hotel for an overnight rest.  Meal (s) included: Breakfast
We will proceed for 4 hours drive back to Lagos, with a visit to the shopping mall at Ikeja, upon arrival at Lagos., We will drive through the popular 3rd Mainland Bridge, and Lekki -Ikoyi Link Bridge for you to have a view of the elite’s predominant region in Lagos. Proceed to visit the Kalakuta Republic museum —highlighting the life of legendary Afro beat musician Fela Kuti. Opened in 2012, the property served as Kuti’s residence from the 1970s until his 1997 death. Fela is buried in a mausoleum on the grounds. See his preserved bedroom as well as other artifacts and exhibits pertaining to his life On this day, A visit to Makoko floating slum will be done in the evening, as the last place of activity and thereafter you’ll check into your hotel to freshen up and rest for the day. Following breakfast in the morning on this last day of the tour, you embark on a last-minute shopping and sightseeing at markets and malls around the city. Transfer to the airport to catch your onward flight home. Most appropriately when you have an evening flight schedule. End of tour. Meal (s) included: Breakfast
